Frederic Charles Cook

Frederic Charles Cook (1810-1889) was an English clergyman and biblical scholar. He is primarily known for his work as the general editor and a major contributor to "The Speaker's Commentary" (also known as "The Bible Commentary"), an influential series of biblical commentaries published in the 19th century. He held ecclesiastical positions such as Prebendary of St Paul's Cathedral and Canon of Exeter.
