George James Ivey was an American author, known for his work on the book "Longshoremen, history and activities of the I.L.A." published in 1929. This book is a historical study of the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA). He also authored "History of the building and construction trades' department, A.F. of L." in 1928, which details the history of the building and construction trades department of the American Federation of Labor.
