Gerardo Mancebo del Castillo Baranda (Mexico City, 1972) is a Mexican poet, essayist, translator, and editor. He studied Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master's degree in Literature at Universidad Iberoamericana. He has been a fellow of the National Fund for Culture and Arts (FONCA) in the Young Creators (poetry) and Co-editions categories, as well as of the University of Iowa's International Writing Program. He is the director of Bonilla Artigas publishing house. His poetic work includes titles such as "El aire de la época", "El árbol de los nombres", and "Las voces de la memoria". He has also collaborated in various magazines and cultural supplements.
