Germán Antelo Arauz is a Bolivian sociologist and columnist. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Paris IV - Sorbonne. He was director of the Sociology program at the Higher University of San Andrés and a university professor. He has been a consultant for international and national organizations. He is known for his analyses of Bolivian society, especially on issues of identity, miscegenation, and the political system. He is a prolific author of articles and essays.
