Germán Dehesa (Mexico City, July 1, 1944 - Mexico City, September 2, 2010) was a Mexican journalist, broadcaster, critic, writer, and commentator. He studied chemical engineering at UNAM, philology at the Sorbonne University in Paris, and dedicated himself to cultural journalism, theater, and radio. He was known for his acidic humor and his comments on daily life and politics in Mexico, often using colloquial language. He published numerous books, including "No hagan olas," "Gaceta del aire," and "Por si las moscas." His work was recognized with the National Journalism Award in the Chronicle/Commentary category in 2008. He collaborated with various print and electronic media, leaving a significant mark on Mexican journalism and culture.
