Gricelda Méndez Bermúdez is a Mexican writer, originally from Jáltipan, Veracruz. She is known primarily for her children's literature, which includes stories and poetry. She has been awarded prizes such as the "Juan de la Cabada" National Children's Story Prize. Her works include "La noche de los alebrijes" (The Night of the Alebrijes) and "En busca del arcoíris" (In Search of the Rainbow).
