Guadalupe Loaeza Tovar (Mexico City, 1946) is a Mexican writer, journalist, and columnist. Known for her works of social commentary and humor, she has published over 50 books, many of them best-sellers, such as "Las niñas bien," "Las reinas de Polanco," and "Por la libre." Her style is characterized by being colloquial, ironic, and addressing themes of Mexican society, relationships, and daily life. She has been a columnist for important newspapers such as Reforma and El Universal, and has participated in radio and television media.
