Hamilton Child

Hamilton Child was an American editor and compiler known for his business directories and county gazetteers in New York State during the 19th century. His works, such as the "Gazetteer and Business Directory of Tompkins County, N.Y." (1868) or the "Gazetteer and Business Directory of Schuyler County, N.Y." (1868-69), are valuable historical sources documenting the commercial and demographic life of various regions at the time.
