Henry Kamen

Henry Kamen is a British historian and Hispanist, renowned for his extensive research on the history of Spain, especially the Spanish Golden Age, the Spanish Inquisition, Philip II, and the Spanish Empire. He studied at the University of Oxford and has held academic positions at various universities, including the University of Warwick, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Spain. He is the author of numerous influential works that have revised and challenged traditional perceptions of Spanish history.
