Íñigo Abbad y Lasierra (1745-1813) was a Spanish Benedictine cleric, traveler, and chronicler, born and deceased in Estadilla, Huesca. He is primarily known for his work "Historia geográfica, civil y natural de la Isla de San Juan Bautista de Puerto Rico" (1788), considered one of the first and most important descriptions of the island during the colonial period. He served as a royal chaplain and was a key observer of Puerto Rico's society and geography.
