Jacques-Paul Migne (1800-1875) was a French priest, theologian, and editor. He is renowned for having compiled and published vast collections of texts by the Church Fathers and medieval authors, known as the Patrologia Latina and the Patrologia Graeca. These monumental works made numerous patristic and medieval texts and biblical commentaries accessible to a wide audience. He founded a printing house and publishing company in Petit-Montrouge, Paris, dedicated to the dissemination of religious knowledge.
