Jean Croiset (1656-1738) was a French Jesuit priest and spiritual writer. He is mainly known for his work "Retraite Spirituelle pour huit jours" (Spiritual Retreat for Eight Days), first published in 1694, which became a classic of devotional literature and was widely translated. He also wrote other spiritual works and was a confessor and spiritual director.
