Jean Ollivier was a French writer, screenwriter, and editor, born on January 19, 1925, in La Verrière and died on December 29, 2005. He is primarily known for his work in comics, especially for Pif Gadget magazine, where he created or co-created numerous characters and series such as "Ayak," "L'Escomotor," and "Le Grêlé 7-13," as well as adaptations of literary works and historical events.
