Jeffrey Ogbonna Green Ogbar

Jeffrey Ogbonna Green Ogbar is an American historian, professor, and chairman of the Department of History at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on African American history, popular culture, and politics. He has written several books, including "Black Power: Radical Politics and African American Identity" and "Hip-Hop Revolution: The Culture and Politics of Rap". He earned his Ph.D. in American history from the University of California, Berkeley. Ogbar is known for his analysis of Black social movements and the intersection of race, class, and gender in U.S. history.
