Jesús Maeso de la Torre (Ubrique, Cádiz, 1956) is a Spanish historian and writer, known mainly for his historical novels. He has won several literary awards, including the "Ciudad de Úbeda" Historical Novel Award and the "Alfonso X El Sabio" Historical Novel Award. His notable works include El sello de plata, La caja china, Te buscaré en Trafalgar, El prisionero de la Torre, and El ejército de Dios. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Noble Arts of Antequera.
