Joan Reventós i Carner (Barcelona, 1927 – Barcelona, 2004) was a Spanish politician, a key figure in the democratic transition in Catalonia. A Law graduate, he was a prominent anti-Franco activist. He was co-founder and first secretary of the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC) (1978-1983) and subsequently president of the Parliament of Catalonia (1984-1995).
