Joan Solé i Margarit (Vic, 1940 - 2009) was a Catalan historian and writer. He specialized in the history of Catalonia, with a particular focus on the city of Vic and the Osona region. He was a professor at the University of Barcelona and the author of numerous historical books and articles.
