Joël Dicker is a Swiss French-language writer. He was born in Geneva in 1985. He studied Law at the University of Geneva. He is internationally known for his novel The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair, published in 2012, which won the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française and the Prix Goncourt des Lycéens, and was adapted into a television miniseries. His works are often complex thrillers with multiple plot twists.
