Amparo Felipo Orts is a Professor of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia. Her research focuses on the study of brain alterations caused by liver diseases, especially minimal hepatic encephalopathy, and the development of therapeutic strategies to reverse them. She has published numerous scientific articles in high-impact journals and has supervised multiple doctoral theses. Her work has been recognized with various awards and she has participated in scientific and editorial committees of international journals.
