Ana Belén Mena (Córdoba, 1977) is a Spanish writer with a degree in Hispanic Philology. She is known for her fantasy and science fiction works, especially young adult literature. Her first novel was "Las alas de la libélula" (The Dragonfly's Wings) (2009). She has received awards such as the Ateneo Joven de Sevilla Novel Award.
