José Escrig y Martínez (1845-1910) was a Spanish Jesuit priest, Latinist, and philologist born in Jérica, Castellón. He is mainly known for his Latin-Spanish and Spanish-Latin Dictionary, published in 1888, which was a fundamental reference work. He was also a Latin teacher and author of various religious and educational works.
