José Luis de Vilallonga

José Luis de Vilallonga y Cabeza de Vaca was a Spanish aristocrat, writer, and actor. Born in Madrid in 1920, he was a descendant of a noble family and related to royalty. After living in exile during the Spanish Civil War, he moved to Paris, where he began an acting career, working with directors such as Federico Fellini in "La dolce vita" and Louis Malle. He published several novels and memoirs, many with an autobiographical and satirical tone, addressing themes such as high society, exile, and his personal experiences. He was known for his cosmopolitan life and his relationships with prominent figures in European culture and royalty. He passed away in Mojácar, Almería, in 2007.
