José Manuel Aguilar Parra is a Spanish author born in Almería in 1968. He is mainly known for his historical novels, often set during the Spanish Civil War and the post-war period, as well as in other historical periods. He has published works such as "El tiempo de los valientes", "El color del perdón", and "La promesa del olvido", among others. He has received several awards, such as the Carolina Coronado Award for Historical Novel. Despite studying Industrial Engineering, he has dedicated himself to writing.
