José Vicente Peiró is a Spanish author, journalist, and literary critic born in Burjassot (Valencia). He holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and has developed an extensive career in journalism and literature. He is the director of the publishing house Cuadernos del Laberinto and the cultural magazine El Maquinista de la General, in addition to collaborating with various media outlets as a literary critic. He has published works of essay, poetry, and short stories.
