Juan Beverina was an Argentine historian, member of the National Academy of History of the Argentine Republic. He specialized in military history, known for his works on the Wars of Independence and internal Argentine conflicts. Among his books are "Las Invasiones Inglesas al Río de la Plata" (The English Invasions of the Río de la Plata), "El General Fray Félix Aldao" (General Fray Félix Aldao), and "La guerra del Paraguay" (The Paraguayan War).
