Julia Navarro is a Spanish journalist and writer born in Madrid in 1953. The daughter of journalist and politician Fernando Navarro, she began her career in radio on Cadena SER and Onda Cero, where she directed and presented various current affairs programs. She also collaborated on television and in print media. Her first novel, The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud, published in 2004, was a bestseller and catapulted her to international fame. Since then, she has published several more novels, such as The Clay Bible, The Blood of the Innocents, Tell Me Who I Am, A Scoundrel's Story, From Nowhere, and A Shared Story, which have been translated into numerous languages. Her works are characterized by a combination of intrigue, historical accuracy, and reflection on the human condition.
