Ángel Acedo Penco is a Spanish author born in Cáceres. A doctor by profession, he has developed a prolific literary career as a poet and narrator. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Extremadura of Letters and Arts, and has been awarded several literary prizes for works such as "El sol en la garganta", "Los caminos del agua" and "El tiempo detenido".
