Synopsis

La incesante crueldad de los Dursley y su sofocante hogar, donde la magia era odiada, convirtieron aquel verano en una tortura insoportable para Harry Potter. Todo lo que Harry anhelaba era escapar de sus garras y regresar al reconfortante y mágico mundo de la Escuela Hogwarts de Magia y Hechicería. Mientras empacaba con entusiasmo su baúl, con la mente llena de pensamientos sobre sus amigos y las clases, sus preparativos fueron bruscamente interrumpidos por la repentina y perturbadora aparición de una extraña criatura de ojos grandes y aspecto de duende que se presentó como Dobby, un elfo doméstico. Con urgencia frenética, Dobby le entregó una severa advertencia: Harry no debía, bajo ninguna circunstancia, regresar a Hogwarts. El elfo insistió en que un terrible peligro y un desastre le esperaban allí.
