Kenneth Martin Follett is a British novelist born on June 5, 1949, in Cardiff, Wales. He studied philosophy at University College London. He began his career as a journalist and later worked for a publishing house. His first internationally successful novel was "Eye of the Needle" (La clave está en Rebeca) in 1978.
